Buying tickets from a bus company

You can buy tickets from a range of providers at the bus tour provider's ticket office, in the ZOB travel agents or from ticket machines. The following long-distance bus companies: BerlinLinienbus, Deutsche Touring / Eurolines, MeinFernbus / Flixbus and Postbus all have their own ticket offices on the ZOB site. We take no responsibility for the correctness of the following information about opening times.

TRAVEL AGENTS AT THE ZOB

You can buy low-priced long distance bus tickets to over 500 destinations in Germany and Europe at the ZOB travel agents. The ZOB travel agents is your partner for bus journeys and other travel agency services. The ZOB travel agents is located in the waiting room.

LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT

You can obtain tickets for local public transport round the clock at the ticket machine in the waiting room. You can pay by EC card or in cash with low-denomination notes and coins. You can obtain information in advance about the appropriate ticket on the VBB (public transport in Berlin and Brandenburg) website, or the websites of the BVG (Berlin public transport) or the S-Bahn (suburban railways).

At the bus stop

The bus stops are equipped with electronic displays showing destinations, interim stops, departure/arrival times and information about delays. Bus timetables are displayed at certain bus stops. Passenger information is also announced using our PA system. Please note that the destination shown on the ticket may not be the same as the long-distance bus's final destination. If your booked destination is an interim stop, this is the destination shown on the ticket.

The waiting room provides over 80 seats, public telephones and two internet terminals where you can check your emails or use other internet services. A range of other services for your use are provided in the waiting area and outside.

Shops and catering

Restaurants and shops where you can purchase meals, snacks, travel articles and souvenirs are located in the ZOB itself and in the vicinity.

U-STORE KIOSK

The U Store - ZOB kiosk is in the ZOB waiting room. Passengers can buy small snacks such as sweets, drinks and pastries. The kiosk also sells magazines and tabacco products.

ANDY’S DINER & BAR on Messedamm in the Ibis Hotel – right opposite the ZOB - offers freshly prepared American food: burgers, juicy steaks, tasty pasta dishes, pizzas, sandwiches and salads.

McDonalds, the well-known American fast-food chain, offers fast food such as hamburgers and fries, and a range of special offers.

7 snack vending machines are located around the ZOB site, offering a range of nibbles such as chocolate bars, jelly babies, crisps and drinks.

Parking on Soorstrasse

Our car park for visitors and those setting down/picking up passengers is right next to the ZOB. Two parking spaces are available for people with disabilities (chargeable). Access to the car park is via Masurenallee/Soorstrasse. The pay station is next to the entrance in the waiting room.

Taxi rank

INFO ON TAXIS AND SHUTTLES

The taxi rank and shuttle parking area are located in front of the main ZOB entrance in Masurenallee 4-6. Taxis are available around the clock for arrivals and departures. Taxi fares are calculated according to the distance travelled; information from the driver. There is no special ZOB taxi fare scale, unlike at the airports. There is also a special parking space at our taxi rank where people with disabilities can get in and out of the taxi.

Overnight accommodation

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION AT THE ZOB

The IBIS hotel is located next to the ZOB. The Avus Hotel is nearby on the Avus north curve. Other hotels and guesthouses are located in the vicinity, e.g. in Neue Kantstrasse and on Kaiserdamm.
